BBDO Malaysia wins grand prix for Posters at London International Awards: Overall Malaysia scores 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 3 Bronze statues
BBDO Proximity Malaysia’s KFC print campaign is one of the stars of the London International Awards after an impressive performance that included a Grand LIA Award, 3 Gold Statues, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze.
KFC’s “Burger. Drumstick, French Fries” campaign is already a major award winner at other international shows, but this was a very dominant performance. BBDO Proximity Malaysia won their Grand LIA (the equivalent of Best in Show) in the Poster Category. The campaign also won Gold in the Poster category and 2 Golds in the Print category. The 6 Silver Statues were collected over the Poster, Print and Design categories.
The LIA’s proved to be profitable for other Malaysian agencies with Y&R Malaysia bringing home 1 Gold and 2 Silver statues for Malaysian Nature Society’s “Cut a Tree. Kill a Life. Tapir; Rhino; Fish”. Their Gold was in the Design category for best use of illustration.
TBWA\Kuala Lumpur also found favour in the judging room winning 2 Bronze statues for Eveready Batteries and Torchlights’ “The Eveready Book of Play”.
