Coca Cola and Ogilvy get the Philippines to fizz up their Valentines with a love song and a Coke
Two days before Valentine’s Day, Coca Cola Philippines set hearts a flutter with a one-day pop-up vending machine that dared lovebirds to fizz up their love.
Amid couples and hopeful singles, Coca Cola set up the special Valentine’s vending machine in picturesque Circuit Makati, inviting people to fizz up their love with a no-frills mechanic: Grab the mic, select a feeling, and sing a love song karaoke-style. After the song, the machine dispensed free Coke for the couple, plus a romantic surprise including shirts that said SOUL and MATE, snapbacks embroidered with BOO and BAE, a rose, and a drinking straw for couples.
The most romantic surprise was Quest, popular Filipino singer, serenading the couples live with a song!
“Coca Cola exists to bring joy and create memorable moments–and what better day to create beautiful moments than a day that celebrates love,” shared Pratik Thakar, Coca Cola ASEAN Integrated Marketing Communications Director.
The Fizz Up Your Love machine is a creative product of the Coca Cola South East Asia Social Experience Lab, which specializes in content creation. The same team recently also created content for Pride Day in Manila, Fanta Scream Machine, and Carol for A Coke.
