BLKJ will handle creative and social work for the Singapore life and general insurance agency. The two year appointment comes following two multi-agency pitches by the insurance company.

Newly-appointed BLKJ will be handling the brand, marketing campaigns, social and content work for Great Eastern. The incumbent for creative was Arcade, while the company worked with various agencies for social campaigns.

Keith Chia, Head Group Brand and Marketing, Great Eastern said: “Great Eastern is a brand trusted by generations of customers. As we move forward to engage and serve the Millennial generation, our focus is to digitally connect our brand to offer fresh experiences and content formats.  BLKJ  has a good understanding of our DNA and what it requires for our brand to keep growing. We are excited with this strategic collaboration and look forward to strong positive outcomes.”

“We at BLKJ are delighted that Great Eastern has trusted us with a 111 year-old brand. Insurance and investments are tools that touch the lives of almost every Singaporean and our endeavour will be to amplify Great Eastern’s offerings. As the company drives its digital transformation, there are many synergies between them and us. We look forward to helping Great Eastern stay ahead of the pack in this journey,” said Rowena Bhagchandani, CEO and co-founder, BLKJ (pictured above).

Two-year old independent agency BLKJ counts StarHub, Scoot, Singapore Tourism Board, Gojek, and The Learning Lab amongst its clients.
