Philippines Creativefest: Four different jury panels gather to judge the 2019 Kidlat Awards

The judging of the annual Philippines Kidlat Awards kicked off in Manila today, with special guest of honour Fernando Machado presiding over the Creative Effectiveness jury.

 

Machado (pictured above left with BBDO Guerrero’s David Guerrero) is the Miami-based global chief marketing officer of Burger King and with him on the Creative Effectiveness jury is Jenny Cinco (Coca-Cola), Raoul Panes (Leo Burnett), David Guerrero (BBDO Guerrero), Blen Fernando (Magna Anima), Tats Cruz (Publicis JimenezBasic), Mio Chongson (ACE Saatchi & Saatchi) and Teeny Gonzales (Seven Ad).

A further 3 other juries will deliberate over this year’s entries. Joey Tiempo (Octopus & Whale) is chairing the Creative Technology & Media jury, Joe Dy (McCann Worldgroup) is chairing the Creative Storytelling jury and Melvin Mangada (TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno) is leading the Creative Purpose jury.

The best work of the year will be awarded on Friday night at the Kidlat Awards, held at the conclusion of the two day Creativefest of talks and panel discussions that begins tomorrow.

Following the judging the jury joined with members of the Philippines 4As for a cocktail party and dinner.
