Cannes Lions releases the 2019 Outdoor Lions shortlist: 39 entries from Asia make the cut

The Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity has released the first shortlist of this year’s awards program just moments ago.

In total 263 entries have made the cut in the Outdoor Lions including 39 from Asia.
Ogilvy Hong Kong as 7 shortlists for their new KFC “Hot & Spicy” print campaign; Ogilvy Thailand has 6 shortlists for their Lego “Spaceship, Empire States and Dragon” campaign; Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong has 5 shortlists for Chupa Chups; Dentsu Inc Tokyo has 4 shortlists for the Advertising Museum of Tokyo; Wunderman Thompson Mumbai also has 4 shortlists for the Jimmy Nelson Foundation.
With 3 shortlists each are Mullen Lowe Singapore (Pepsodent Toothpaste) and Ogilvy Philippines (Master Facial Scrub).
Dentsu Impact Gurgaon (Polyfix Instant Glue) and McCann Worldgroup Mumbai (Mindopeners) have 2 shortlists each.
Single shortlists go to BBH Singapore (Nike Go BKK), Wunderman Thompson Thailand (Narcos: The Censor’s Cut) and BBDO Pakistan (Truck Art Childfinder).
