Zeno Group and Hero Electric encourage Indians to join #SwitchToElectric

Hero Electric, India’s largest electric bike company continues its crusade against air pollution with a digital film delivering a sobering message to all Indians.

The film showcases Hero Electric employees taking a pledge to beat air pollution and urging people to do the same. The seriousness of the issue of air quality is highlighted by facts around air pollution in India released by the W.H.O., Centre for Science and Environment (C.S.E) and the report released on State of Global Air 2019.

Inspired by the UN mask challenge campaign for World Environment Day that had a number of celebrities take pledges with their faces covered, Hero Electric took the opportunity to use the familiar and well recognised face buffs worn by millions of two wheeler riders in India as a medium of education and awareness to deliver a simple and ironical message that it’s time for two wheeler owners to think of beating air pollution and to start thinking of switching to electric.

The film with a social message, the first of its kind by an electric vehicles brand in India, is Hero Electric’s ongoing commitment to educate consumers and drive the country towards a cleaner, greener and sustainable future powered by electro-mobility.
