Wunderman Thompson and TCP engage and inspire consumers with a water stewardship program in Thailand

Awkward welcome dance, unattractive guys hitting on you, poop-filled walkway traps… These are just some of the unsavory things no volunteer camp would tell you the truth about – but that’s what TCP Spirit did.

TCP Group is the inventor and owner of Kratingdaeng (Red Bull) and other leading non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage brands in Thailand such as Ready brand energy drink, Sponsor sports drink, Mansome functional drink, Puriku bottled white tea and Sun Snack snack products. The company is concerned for the Thai people, because river basins are falling sick and headwaters are being destroyed by deforestation, which are causing serious problems for all parts of Thailand.

This is why TCP Group is running this long-term CSR campaign “TCP Spirit” via Wunderman Thompson to engage and inspire consumers with its water stewardship program to conserve fresh water from up the headwaters down to the lowest parts of the river basins.

Initially, the TCP Spirit river care volunteer camp planned to recruit up to 100 teenage volunteers, but they’ve already received over 4,150 applications, 3.5 million views, and 88,000 shares – all in under 3 weeks.
