Dentsu Aegis Network China has appointed Yuichi Toyoda as CEO for Dentsu One China.
Toyoda (pictured) has 25 years of advertising experience and has led teams based in Japan, India and Thailand markets. As a proven global business leader, his experience spans media planning, communication design, branding and business design for numerous influential clients including Honda, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Suntory, Unicharm, Toshiba, Seven-Eleven and Novartis.
In his new role, Toyoda will lead the team to drive integrated and strategic solutions, ensure the maximum marketing and business value for clients across all offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan offices.

Prior to assuming this new position, Toyoda was President and CEO at Dentsu One Thailand where he grew the business significantly, achieving record commercial and creative success. Under his leadership Dentsu One’s service expanded to include business design areas beyond advertising and led to the company winning South East Asia’s Integrated Agency of the Year Award.
Toyoda joined Dentsu Inc. in 1994 and started his career as media planner and buyer. He took several leadership roles in Japan and later at Dentsu One India where he delivered a highly successful internal transformation program there. Toyoda is also an established contributor to industry thought leadership content and events, tasking to the stage at events such as AdFest to lead the debate on innovation.
