Wunderman Thompson Singapore elevates Farrokh Madon to Chief Creative Officer and appoints Rebecca Nadilo as Chief Strategy Officer

Farrokh Madon has moved up to the Chief Creative Officer role at Wunderman Thompson Singapore. He joined J Walter Thompson Singapore from Y&R Singapore (prior to their global merger with Wunderman) three years ago as Chief Creative Partner.

In a career spanning Singapore, Amsterdam and India, Madon has garnered over 200 prestigious advertising awards. Work done on his watch has featured on CNN’s Anderson Cooper show & FOX TV in America. He has also been the global creative lead on SIA and the Regional Creative Director on MasterCard, Listerine, Kellogg’s, Gillette and BMW.

Madon (pictured on left) was given the coveted Creative Director of the Year Award at the Institute of Advertising Singapore’s HALL OF FAME AWARDS. He has judged at Cannes, Adfest, Singapore Creative Circle Awards, Effie Awards and many other advertising and marketing shows. Outside advertising, he has also written a novel. It briefly sat on the Top Sellers shelf at Kinokuniya.

In another major appointment the agency has hired Rebecca Nadilo as Chief Strategy Officer.

Joining Wunderman Thompson with over 14 years’ experience across Asia Pacific and the US, Nadilo’s T-shaped skill set spans business, digital and creative strategy, communications planning, CX and service design, creative development, brand and organization leadership.

Most recently Head of Strategy at BBDO Singapore, Nadilo (pictured on right) led APAC business, brand and customer experience strategy on multiple multi-national, multimarket clients including Visa, Fonterra, Sulwhasoo, Laneige, and local clients Tiger beer.

She brought together India, SEA and Australia as one APAC team to help win Ford globally and won 6 Effies and 3 Cannes Lions across CVS and AT&T.

Recognized among Business Insider’s 30 Under 30 Most Creative People in the US, she also represented Asia at Omnicom University Advanced Management Program and led female leadership program ‘Heels of Steel’ in Singapore.

On joining the network, Rebecca Nadilo said, “I joined Wunderman Thompson for two reasons – the real and tangible investment in capabilities like Data, CX and e-Commerce that many other agencies don’t yet have – and the insanely smart and collaborative people who make up these capabilities. With this, our creative will be sharper, distinctive and more effective”.

Commented Madon, “Creativity inspired by data can amplify a brand’s impact and lead to engaging experiences. I am excited to be working with Nimesh, Rebecca and a talented team to create work that appeals to both the left and right sides of the brain.”

Added Nimesh Desai, CEO Wunderman Thompson Singapore, “We are thrilled to have Rebecca join us to lead strategy and Farrokh take on the creative leadership role. We are in the midst of reinforcing Wunderman Thompson as the catalyst for growth for our clients. Each one of us brings our unique individual strengths. But together we are far stronger.”
