Publicis Communications Singapore has appointed Joanne de Rozario as Managing Director of Prodigious.
In her new role, de Rozario (pictured) will lead the growth of the business and oversee the agency’s development and creation of content across various platforms for Prodigious clients; as well as for the breadth of Publicis Groupe clients in Singapore and the region.
She will report to Lou Dela Pena, CEO of Publicis Communications Singapore and Michael Burgess, CEO of Prodigious APAC/MEA.
Current Managing Director, Peter Short, will be leaving Prodigious in early November to pursue other opportunities.
de Rozario joined Prodigious as Executive Director a year ago, where she played an integral role in setting up Content Studio, a self-contained content-creation facility designed to help world-leading brands deliver marketing and advertising solutions at scale, and with greater speed.
Before joining Prodigious, de Rozario led a content marketing agency in Singapore and production departments all around Asia at Fox International Channels, Life Inspired and ntv7.
“I cannot think of anyone more perfect for the role to drive Prodigious to the next level. She brings a blend of experience from both the storytelling and the production delivery sides of the business. Her unique expertise that will be key change in deepening Prodigious’ offering in agile content creation and delivery,” said Dela Pena.
“Singapore is a strategic hub for our operations in the Asia Pacific region, combining best in class services and capabilities across channels.” said Burgess. “With her industry background, experience and energy, Joanne is the right person to create value for our clients through ongoing innovation and the evolution of the business to best serve our Client’s needs.”
“I’m honoured to have this opportunity to lead one of the most forward-looking and diverse cross-media firms in Singapore. I’m even more privileged to lead a team that is so passionate about delivering world-class creative solutions,” said de Rozario.
