New York Festivals International Advertising Awards is now open for entries for the 2020 competition. The deadline to enter the 2020 New York Festivals Advertising Awards is December 16, 2019.
New York Festivals announced several competition updates for 2020. Continuing a commitment to excellence, the changes include the modernization of the Advertising Awards database. Newly launched this month, a streamlined entry system, new website and new judging system provide a straightforward process and ease of navigation for both entrants and jury members.
New York Festivals also announced the Midas Awards has merged into the prestigious NYF Advertising Awards. Midas will be a special category group: Financial Advertising which will include all the familiar financial categories. All Midas entries will be judged by a prominent international jury under the NYF Advertising umbrella.
Says Susan Glass Ruse, executive director, NYF Advertising Awards: “We’re excited by the possibilities that come with the inclusion of the esteemed Midas Awards into the NYF Advertising Awards family. Midas brings 18 year of excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale to NYF’s robust category mix.”
Midas executive director Scott Rose steps in place as managing director of NYF’s Advertising Awards joining Ruse and associate executive director Heather Abrams in leading the competition.
Says Rose: “The far-reaching scope of NYF’s Advertising Awards provides the ultimate platform for the Midas Awards to continue to thrive. Midas award-winners will be featured with NYF’s advertising award winners on the competition’s website, and in global showcases.”
Last year, the competition saw unprecedented growth with over 330+ new companies entering in 2019. The Advertising Awards competition receives entries from over 60+ countries and are judged by 400+ members of NYF’s executive and grand Juries who collectively cast their votes to select the World’s Best Advertising.
NYF’s live judging sessions will take place in New York City a month earlier allowing winners to be notified with results by April 6th. Many clients have requested earlier results and we were happy to grant those wishes.
Executive jury sessions will convene March 31st to April 3rd. The executive jury, an elite panel of chief creative officers, and Film Craft executive jury will choose the winners from the finalist entries selected by the international online grand jury.
