IPG Mediabrands appoints Chris Chen as CEO of IPG Mediabrands China.
Formerly COO and CFO of DDB Greater China, Chen (pictured) has more than 15 years progressive leadership experience in strategic financial and operational roles across number of media networks; including 8 years at GroupM China, and prior to joining DDB, serving more than 5 and a half years as IPG Mediabrands China CFO.

Chris Chen’s appointment to the role of CEO IPG Mediabrands China, will follow the departure of Tom Wan at the end of this year. Lee commented, “Tom has led the Mediabrands China network through a transformational growth period over the last three years. It’s time to take on a new challenge, and he leaves with our sincere thanks, and best wishes.”
Chen will be based in Shanghai, and will report to Leigh Terry, CEO IPG Mediabrands APAC. His appointment is effective mid-January 2020.
