GREYnJ United Bangkok has released a short film for Thailand telco TRUE Corporation. ‘Footprint’ is a film that focuses on sustainability.

Climate change, food shortage, social inequality – a range of global issues all related to sustainability. It’s something the world can no longer afford to ignore. Yet the complexities of the topic makes it difficult to communicate the message clearly. Even more so in Thailand, where the awareness of sustainability is not something that always registers with people.

TRUE Corporation, Thailand’s leading telecom operator, decided to take the first step in letting people know what innovative sustainability truly means in their lives. To do this, the company partnered with GREYnJ United Bangkok to bring to life this touching short film, inspired by a true story.

‘Footprint’ takes place in a Southern Thailand province, where local farmers and wild elephants experience a multitude of human-animal conflicts. Through a child’s eyes, the audience sees how technology and a sense of responsibility can make a significant impact on sustainable living. It’s why TRUE has been listed as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019.

The story warmed the hearts of a nation, attracting over one million views overnight with thousands of shares. But more importantly, it raised awareness and interest to a more sustainable world.
