TBWA\Beijing helps Save the Children celebrate 100 years in China with Beautiful Fairytales

Save the Children has launched a new video Beautiful Fairytales for its 100-year anniversary to raise brand awareness and promote children’s well being in China.

The campaign was created by TBWA\Beijing and its in-house film production studio, BOLT by TBWA\China.

‘Beautiful Fairytales’ tells three stories inspired by real projects happening on the ground, and draws a vivid picture of the important initiatives Save The Children undertakes.

Fan Sha, creative director at TBWA\Beijing said, “Fairytales are a powerful platform to showcase Save The Children’s hopeful messaging around how quickly circumstances can change for the better – giving children their happily-ever-after. Amazingly, the three magical stories are simply adaptations from cases of the organization’s incredible work in China.”

The fairytales include: ‘Duoduo Pig’, ‘I’m Not A Freak’ and ‘A Little One-handed Painter’.

Li Shu, Head of Communications Campaigns and Media, Save The Children, said, ”It has been 100 years since Save The Children was established. Our purpose is to raise the brand awareness and make more people know our mission and ambition across China. ‘Beautiful Fairytales’ created by TBWA\Beijing delivered our idea perfectly – no matter what these children experienced in the past; we’re here to help them secure a future as beautiful as the fairytale endings.’’

Ronnie Wu, Chief Creative Officer, TBWA\China added, “It has been an honour to cooperate with Save The Children. We wanted to create a warm, touching yet powerful campaign highlighting real-life challenges that can be overcome with knowledge, education, care and support. Our ambition is to raise further awareness of the important work Save the Children has undertaken; work that has already benefitted millions of children and so many communities.”
