BBDO Korea elevates Kyunghee Lee to General Manager

After a decade with BBDO, BBDO Korea has appointed Kyunghee Lee to the position of General Manager.

As such she will lead and manage cross disciplinary teams servicing multi-national accounts, play a key role in the agency’s management team and continue to lead our largest client in that market. Lee (pictured) has 20 years of experience in the advertising industry and has been recognized for her account leadership at both the Korean Advertising Awards and the Busan Adstars. She started her advertising career at FCB in 2000 and joined BBDO Korea in 2010 to broaden her knowledge in both domestic and international markets.

In the past decade at BBDO, Lee has been working with inbound and outbound markets, working on major accounts including AmorePacific brands (such as Sulwhasoo and innisfree), Mars, Visa, MetLife, ExxonMobil and FedEx, to name a few.

Jean-Paul Burge, Chairman & CEO of BBDO Asia said, “I have known Kyunghee for a long time and she is the definition of solid account management. She has a keen sense for understanding the client’s business and the ability to translate those insights into measurable results. I am delighted that she is now a key part of JY’s leadership team in Korea and I have no doubt that she will continue to deliver great work in that market.”
