Joshua Robertson returns to VCCP as Regional Chief Marketing Officer, APAC

Joshua Robertson is rejoining VCCP as Regional CMO for APAC. He will be based out of VCCP’s Singapore office and with a client base including Shell, Cathay Pacific, Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, Invesco and Hisense, his focus will be building VCCP in APAC and accelerating growth.

The majority of Joshua’s career has seen him help both independent and network agencies grow their reputations and client lists, in the UK and beyond.

He helped Havas become one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK. At Dentsu he was part of the team that won the £150m UK Government account, led the pitch team that secured the Lionsgate business and worked on the communications strategy for the launch of the £5 polymer banknote. He spent four years at VCCP, most notably helping win and establish some of VCCP’s biggest international clients: Cathay Pacific and Shell. After a tint at Publicis Media as UK Business Development Lead he has returned to VCCP, just this time he is excited by the opportunities and challenges that Singapore and APAC offer.

Craig Mapleston, Regional Director VCCP commented “We’re really excited to have Josh onboard to help build the VCCP brand in APAC and accelerate the strong growth we’ve already created. It’s a difficult time for businesses now, so more than ever, they need partners like VCCP who will take on a challenge in times of adversity. It’s in our DNA.”

Robertson said: “The VCCP challenger spirit has quickly been adopted by brands in APAC with three new wins already this year. I can’t wait to help Craig and the rest of the team to create innovative and exciting marketing that will transform the fortunes of our clients.”
