With Cannes Lions, LIA and Spikes Asia postponed until 2021, Campaign Brief is still out to recognise and showcase the great work that is being produced in the region. Here are Grey Malaysia’s The Work 2020 Contenders.
WWF: Your Plastic Diet
How do you create real change? By turning an environmental crisis into a personal health issue. Your Plastic Diet made the problem so big, the world’s governments can’t ignore it any longer.
Volvo: Safe Drive Hour
To mark the 60th Anniversary of Volvo’s creation of the 3-point seat belt, we turned any radio in any car into a safety device for all drivers. All during the most dangerous time of year on the roads.
Sport doesn’t just keep your body healthy, it teaches us crucial life-skills such as teamwork, self-confidence, leadership and positive body-image. Bullying and insults fuelled by out-dated values are one of the primary reasons that girls drop out of sport. In Malaysia, once such insult is Wanita Besi – which directly translates as ‘Iron Lady’, which in this context is used negatively. National sports heroes, themselves victims of bullying, renamed themselves #WanitaBesi – redefining the phrase a through the lens of real female achievement.
The entry deadline for Campaign Brief’s The Work 2020 is this Friday, May 22. Entries are FREE with only an acceptance fee charged for those that make the cut.
