Scarecrow M&C Saatchi India embraces the spirit of Eid in the times of social distancing

In India for over a century, Wagh Bakri Tea has stood for creating and enriching relationships. This inspired Scarecrow M&C Saatchi to create a digital film to celebrate Eid, the festival that brings people together.

 

But, how do you celebrate a festival marked by embracing and gathering, in the times of social distancing? By looking at the silver lining of this Eid that is unlike any other in history. Backed by a piece of music with Mediterranean flavours, it reminds us to be thankful for what we have rather than that what we don’t and how this Eid has given us the opportunity to be more grateful and have more empathy.

Manish Bhatt, Founder Director, Scarecrow M&C Saatchi added “Eid is a festival of ‘galey milna’, so it was an interesting challenge to look at it in the perspective of the effects of lockdown, curtailed travel and social distancing. As always, we believe that a brand should infuse optimism that lifts the mood of the people and I believe this film does that.”
