Visual Retale launches outdoor campaign featuring messages from Malaysian leaders celebrating Malaysia
Visual Retale, Malaysia’s specialist digital out-of-home media owner, has launched its #CELEBRATINGMALAYSIA campaign in conjunction with Malaysia Day falling on 16th September.
Sailendra Kanagasundram (Sai), Chief Executive Officer of Visual Retale said: “The devastating impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt across the globe. Yet Malaysians have held strong through the crisis, and we are thankful to all parties who have played a role to support the containment. From our healthcare officials who have demonstrated world-class care in facing this pandemic, to the government whose initiatives have supported with financial aid where possible, our frontliners who have worked tirelessly through the Movement Control Order (MCO), and every single Malaysian who played their part, and continues to fight this crisis through their daily actions.”
Sai adds: “We at Visual Retale acknowledge these contributions and launched this campaign in commemoration with Malaysia Day as a tribute and celebration of all Malaysians. It serves as a reminder that we not let our guards down; we need to continue fighting for a better tomorrow, together. With the help of so many key leaders in Malaysia, we hope this campaign will resonate a strong message of unity, endurance and solidarity amongst Malaysians.”
Participating leaders include Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and leading corporate figures such as Group CEO AirAsia Berhad, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, Tan Sri Dato Seri Vincent Tan, Founder and Group Managing Director of Mah Sing Group Berhad, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum and Managing Director of Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad, Datuk Wira (Dr.) Hj. Ameer Ali Mydin.
The campaign is also supported by prominent media industry players such as Co-founder of Ampersand, Sandeep Joseph, CEO of GroupM, Chanchal Chakrabarty, CEO of Mediabrands, Bala Pomaleh, CEO of PHD Media, Eileen Ooi, CEO of Publicis Group, Tan Kien Eng, and CEO of Trapper Media, Sivanathan Krishnan.
“We have had an outpouring of support across all walks of leadership, including the Prime Minister. We hope their positive messages given in the spirit of Malaysia Day will let each Malaysian know their contributions are appreciated. We will continue to stay vigilant and pull together as a united Malaysia through our adversity,” Sai adds.
The campaign runs across major locations in Klang Valley throughout the month of September.
