Leo Burnett Thailand and Soi Dog Foundation create user generated campaign raising money for animal shelters
During the COVID-19 pandemic, kindness flourished among Thai’s to help aid those affected. There were Pansook cabinets installed in many areas for those affected by the pandemic to get free food and necessities. However, people forgot about our animal friends in shelters that rely on our support.
When everyone was busy trying to save themselves and help others, who else was better equipped to help animals than animals themselves.
The Leo Burnett Group Thailand helped Soi Dog Foundation create the “Pet Shows for Good” campaign, which invited pet owners to post videos of their pets on social media to raise money and awareness about this issue. The donation’s went to Soi Dog, Home4Animals, and The Voice Thailand to buy food and medical supplies.
From the foundation’s posts of the campaign, word spread out quickly. Celebrities joined in which led to heaps of user generated contents. After just two weeks, shelter donations tripled thanks to the user generated campaign.
