McCann Worldgroup China has hired Wu Shu in the General Manager role to lead the business teams of both McCann Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Shu (pictured) comes to McCann from Blue Focus, where she was GM of Blue Focus Shanghai’s Brand Center. With more than 18 years of professional experience across advertising, communication and marketing, Shu has solid experience and proven success leading media, brand, and agency teams. She has managed an extensive range of communication and marketing teams that span content development and corporate/brand communication to social, digital marketing, KOL/influencer strategy and e-commerce.
Prior to her time at Blue Focus, Shu held various client-side roles with Starbucks China, including as their Head of Social, and has also worked with two television channels. She has worked in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and Chengdu.
