Tencent Shenzhen shows how important every yuan donated to the 99 Giving Day charity is

Tencent Shenzhen has released this ‘Mysterious Visitors to the Bakery’ campaign for their Tencent Charity – 99 Giving Day. The web film showcases what donations actually go towards.

 

People who donate to charity via an app often make small donations and very few of them care or know how to check where their donation actually goes. Tencent wanted to show that these small donations actually make a huge impact to thank and try and inspire more people to donate.

Tencent set up a bakery in Nan Jing, where all the staff are mental disabled. They invite 30 donors from the whole country to buy and taste the bread, while capturing the interaction between the donors and the staff. The life-changing power generated by each one yuan donated is fully expressed by the emotions from the donors.
