Singapore’s Crowbar Awards for students announces 2020 winners

The Crowbar Awards 2020 winners were announced last Friday in Singapore via a virtual show where over 160 awards were presented.

 

The coveted Institution of the Year award was presented to Temasek Polytechnic for their students’ outstanding works. This is the fourth year running that Temasek Polytechnic has brought home this award.

Two (2) Best of Category awards were given away. Low Shi Jian, Soh Wen Xiong Ivan, Justin Sze Zhen Hao, Wu Yanni @ Goh Yan Ni and Teh Rong Sheng from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, bagged the Best of Category for Film & Photography with their work, “Peter”.

The second Best of Category went to Catherine Kusuma, from LASALLE College of the Arts, with her work, “[DEAFINITE] Translate” in the Good category.

The winners of Crowbar Challenge 2020 were also revealed during the award show. They are students from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts – Kyara Avrillie Yanto, Chin Yong Shen Nicholas, Elita Jacinta, Cynthia Tanoto & Carissa Almira Djawas.
