BBDO Singapore send clients love and luck with a twist this February
BBDO Singapore have added a creative and affectionate twist to their greeting card for Chinese New Year 2021.
This year, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day fall close to each other so BBDO Singapore wanted send the clients all the luck and love the year has to offer with a single greeting to mark both occasions.
Using the Year of the Ox and the symbolic XOXO phrase commonly associated with love and affection, the agency created a simple way to commemorate both dates. A simple flip of the card turns the CNY greeting into a Valentine’s Day message – creating an unforgettable token that they hope will leave a smile on everyone’s face.

Don’t people associate XO with Extra Old as in brandy? the font used seems to reinforce that yes?
Even at my most constipated Ive never strained this hard to force an idea.
Combining CNY with Valentines makes no sense…the two are completely
different occasions as we all know…I’d have loved to see something that spoke to clients
about why they should still consider this agency.

I also bought the Giodarno underwear with the same design. I just love to feel X-Extra large. heh heh
