BBDO Guerrero launches search for the next batch of creative trainees for the annual Barbero Internship Program.
Every year, the agency opens its doors to aspiring young creatives who would like to jumpstart their advertising journey by exposing them to real client briefs and allowing them to learn from some of the country’s prominent creative leaders. This year, successful applicants will be remotely joining the program due to safety.
Part of the screening process is an online brief that applicants can respond to with kwentong barbero (literally translates to “barber’s tales”) – just like friendly barberos who love telling stories in the most creative way they could think of while giving you a clean and nice haircut. This year’s brief asks applicants to tell their stories from their lockdown experience.
BBDO Guerrero Creative Chairman David Guerrero, said: “It’s always a joy to have young creatives on board with fresh ideas. This is the second time that we are doing the program virtually, but we hope we will still be able to grow future creative leaders from all over the country who will bring Filipino creativity to the world stage.”
Interested applicants may submit their entries along with their updated CV and portfolio to firstname.lastname@example.org until February 28, 2021. The internship program is set to start on March 15, 2021. Click here for more details.
