Thai creative asks all Young Lions competitors to donate their ideas so many of them come to life with WWF Thailand

On April 20th the winners of the Young Lions Live Award 2021 were announced. The global competition features a brief from the WWF and generates hundreds of concepts which are then submitted to the Cannes Lions competition.

Former Young Lions Live Award 2020 winner from Thailand, Panchika Sausanga, has come up with a proposal that can bring to life these creative exercise concepts so, instead of just to win a competition, they can help make real change and help awareness of WWF’s messages.

Sausanga wants the ideas to go beyond this awards competition.

“To truly help save the world, we have launched an online proposal letter asking all young creatives to ‘donate their ideas’ from the Young Lions Live Award competition for the 2021 WWF brief, no matter if they were awarded or not. All these wonderful ideas will be collected and proposed to WWF Thailand in order to make them happen for real,” said Sausanga.

‘Donate Your Cannes’ has already received a tremendous response in Thailand with ideas submitted from many young creatives from leading agencies including CJ WORX, The Leo Burnett Group, Far East Fame Line DDB, BBDO Bangkok, Wunderman Thompson and more.

Young Thai creatives are trying to push forward Young Lions to be more than an advertising award competition, but one that can lead to a larger impact.
