Dentsu International Hong Kong appoints Anna Chan as Media CEO

Dentsu International Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Anna Chan as CEO for its Media Service Line, effective from June 1.


Reporting to Simone Tam, CEO of dentsu International Hong Kong, Chan will oversee the full suite of dentsu’s media business including its data consulting and trading units. She will be responsible for accelerating the network’s transformation agenda by tapping into high growth areas such as data, brand commerce and performance marketing, develop-ing an integrated portfolio of solutions and capabilities.

She was previously the General Manager, AdOps at dentsu APAC. Prior to that, she was the Regional Managing Director at Amnet – dentsu’s programmatic arm, where she played a pivotal role in setting up the network’s programmatic operations in key mar-kets including Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

Chan brings over 20 years of advertising and digital marketing experience in the APAC region, and is well regarded in the industry. She held leadership positions at iClick In-teractive Asia, Reprise Media Asia and Universal McCann APAC. Chan is currently work-ing as PHD Hong Kong’s Managing Partner, leading the HSBC account for APAC.
