Ad Stars has extended the deadline for the Ad Stars 2021 Awards until 31st May 2021.
Now in its 14th year, Ad Stars is unlike other festivals by virtue of the fact that entries are free, and the top two Grand Prix of the Year winners win US$10,000 each.
Says Hwanjin Choi, Chair of Ad Stars: “Ad Stars wants creators all over the world to have a forum where they can share their work, and inspire the world. To achieve this, we are committed to keeping entry fees to a minimum, which gives all kinds of creative businesses a level playing field on which to compete. We have also received many requests for a deadline extension, so we are happy to offer some extra time to prepare your entries.”
AD STARS 2021 – KEY DATES
The Ad Stars Awards judging process is divided into three stages:
Preliminary Jury: The Ad Stars 2021 Preliminary Jury is made up of over 240 creative professionals globally, who will vote on this year’s finalists from 28th June to 7th July. A shortlist will be announced on 16th July.
Final Jury: The Ad Stars Final Jury is made up of over 30 of the world’s most respected creative leaders. The Final Jury will review all finalists from 19th to 28th July, and meet again to select the winners (5th to 13th August).
The Ad Stars 2021 Online Festival will run from 25th to 27th August, and all winners will be announced at the online awards ceremony on 27th August.
Ad Stars 2021 AWARD CATEGORIES
The Ad Stars Awards include the following categories: Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio & Audio, Design, Interactive, Mobile, Data Insights, Social & Influencer, PR, Brand Experience & Activation, Direct, Media, Integrated, Innovation, Diverse Insights, Place Brand, Creative eCommerce, and Pivot – a category that honors campaigns that have amplified and repositioned brands in response to COVID-19, or helped to overcome the pandemic through public health initiatives.
There are also separate categories for Public Service Advertising and Video Stars. It is free to enter all categories excluding the Innovation and Integrated categories, which cost KRW 100,000 (approx. US$100) per entry.
