Grey Singapore expands team with four new hires

Grey Singapore has announced the addition of four new talents to their Singapore team, including Justine Lee and Rubin Regueira Fernando to the creative department.

Copy-based Creative Director Justine Lee (pictured top left) joins from TBWA Group Singapore. With over 20 years of experience at several of the world’s leading ad agencies, Lee’s work is multidisciplinary, with campaigns across various online and offline channels. She has worked on a broad spectrum of global and local brands, in categories as diverse as finance, travel, technology, telco, healthcare, hospitality, consumer products, B2B, and public service – for clients such as American Express, United Overseas Bank, Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines, Republic of Singapore Navy, HP, IBM, Nokia, IKEA, Pernod Ricard and AWARE Singapore. Her work has been recognised at local, regional and international award shows for both creativity and effectiveness.

In addition, she has served on the juries of award shows, including D&AD, Asia Pacific AdFest, Kodak Gongs Australia, The New York Festivals International, Ad Stars, Singapore Creative Circle Awards, DM Asia Awards and Crowbar.

Rubin Regueira Fernando (Rubinho – pictured bottom left) joins as a copy-based Creative Director. Rubinho is a Spanish creative with 20 years of experience, having lived in the US, Sweden and China, and worked for world-leading agencies such as SCPF, Crispin Porter+Bogusky, Anomaly, Tony Le Brand, BBH, and Edelman Deportivo. As a creative, he has won awards at Cannes, One Show, AD&D, El Sol, EFI and Adfest for his work on Burger King, IKEA and NIKE. Rubinho doesn’t like ads but loves ideas, snowboarding and Singapore.

Shawn Low (pictured bottom right) joins as Head of Social, Grey Singapore. Low returns to Singapore after stints in London and, more recently, Melbourne, Australia, where he was the Head of Content and Social at leading B2B agency Green Hat. He brings extensive content and social media knowledge from previous agency roles at King Content and Immedia.

A multi-channel digital native with strong experience in start-ups, B2B and B2C, Low has worked for clients such as Singtel, Starhub, the National Gallery of Singapore, IBM, Lenovo, Nestle Professional, SK-II, Mimecast, and more. Low will lead Grey’s Social Media efforts across all clients and be responsible for expanding their capabilities, including working with Grey’s Commerce unit to drive Social Commerce.

Wei Jian Lim (pictured top right) joins as Account Director from MullenLowe Singapore. With over 11 years in the industry, Wei Jian has handled various projects, from front-of-house brand campaigns and social newsrooms to on-ground tech activations. He has five years of experience focusing on numerous government accounts – Navy, STB, EDB, WSG, Govtech, SNDGO, SUTD and National Gallery and another eight years on several banking and insurance accounts – SCB, Citibank, HSBC bank, HSBC Life, UOB Banca and AIA.

“A group that is purpose-driven, strategic and immensely talented and whose creative, digital, and business ambitions match Grey’s strategic direction -we look forward to welcoming them to the Grey family,“ commented Konstantin Popovic, CEO, Grey Singapore.
