Goodyear connects with Thai consumers this Songkran festival through tread pattern shirt design project via WORKKIT Bangkok

Goodyear is an American tire brand which have been with Thai people for more than 50 years. To bridge deeper connection with Thai consumers, WORKKIT Bangkok launched ‘The VeryTYRE Project’ for Goodyear which reached Thai people through their culture.

 

During Thai’s new year or Songkran Festival, it is common for all Thai working abroad or different cities returning to their hometowns to celebrate this holiday with their families. For Songkran festival, the so called “Thai pattern shirt” is one of the most popular items which now becomes unique symbol of this festival. For this reason, Goodyear Thailand initiated the “Tread pattern shirt” design project for Songkran festival.

The design (Goodyear2 model) is meant to pass on the lively culture of Thai people through the bright colors with comfortable fabric truly suit the hot weather and daily use.

Millions numbers of engagement and awareness, but more than numbers. The brand was bringing back a happiness feeling to people’s home via online communication and campaign activation during the pandemic.
