Fin Design + Effects appoints Johan Polhem as new Managing Director of Singapore office

Fin Design + Effects is increasing their presence on the ground in Singapore with an updated studio on Club Street and several new hires, including Johan Polhem as new Managing Director.

 

Polhem brings with him 20 years of broad experience across creative execution coupled with leadership and entrepreneurship after leading and growing production and VFX businesses in Singapore and Australia. Having previously held senior positions across the APAC region, he has the pedigree and local knowledge to spearhead the growth of Fin Design + Effects into the Singaporean market. Previously a regional ECD for Chimney Group and award winning TVC director, Polhem appreciates the demand for a solid premium post production offering on the ground in Singapore.

Polhem said: “Fin Design’s reputation and body of work is second to none. As an independent studio with a clear focus on quality and artistry above all else, Fin is rather unique in this market. I’m proud to be part of such an incredibly talented group of artists and producers and I can’t wait to show the local Singapore industry what the team at Fin Design is capable of.”

In his role as Managing Director, he will be working closely with Caryne Chia who has been appointed Senior Producer after returning from Shanghai.
