Ogilvy Asia scores 11 of Asia’s 19 shortlists in LIA’s TV/Cinema and Online Film categories; Wolf BBK picks up 4 shortlists for ‘Shop Unfriend’

Ogilvy India and Wolf BBK are the strongest performers from Asia in London International Awards (LIA) shortlists for TV/Cinema and Online Film. Ogilvy Asia collected 11 of Asia’s 19 shortlists from India, Singapore and Thailand offices.

 

From Ogilvy, Ogilvy India’s “Savlon Artist” campaign scored 4 of the agencies 6 shortlists with Dove “Stop The Beauty Test” and Fevicol “Sofa” each picking up 1. Ogilvy Singapore’s “Please Arrest Me” campaign for RIT Foundation picked up 2 shortlists and Ogilvy Group Thailand’s Voiz Wafer “Library” campaign picked up 3.

Wolf BKK, Bangkok’s Central Midnight Sale “Shop Unfriend” campaign performed well with 4 shortlists.

Edelman Singapore, GIGIL Manila, Leo Burnett Taiwan and TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno Philippines all scored 1 shortlist each.

There are a total of 83 entries representing 21 countries shortlisted in Online Film. The United States dominates with 16 entries shortlisted, followed by Germany with eight and Brazil and the United Kingdom tied with seven shortlsted entries each.

In TV/Cinema, 71 entries from 18 countries Shortlisted. The United States leads with 22 entries shortlisted, followed by the United Kingdom with 12 and India with 5.

Kentaro Kimura, International Chief Creative Officer at Hakuhodo / Hakuhodo Kettle, Tokyo led this truly international TV/Cinema and Online Film jury.
