Cheil Hong Kong, Ogilvy Pakistan + Hakuhodo Indonesia pick up multiple shortlists in LIA’s Ambient & Activation, Print, Poster and Billboard categories

London International Awards (LIA) has announced the shortlists for Ambient & Activation, Print, Poster and Billboard categories. Asia has picked up 14 shortlists led by Cheil Hong Kong with 4 and Ogilvy Pakistan with 3.

 

In the Ambient & Activation category Ogilvy Pakistan has score 3 shortlists for their Telenor Pakistan “Naming the Invisible by Digital Birth Registration” campaign. Leo Burnett Group Manila, Ogilvy Singapore, Ogilvy Taiwan and VMLY&R Commerce Mumbai all picked up 1 shortlisted

Cheil Hong Kong’s ‘Abandoned Stations’ campaign for Volkswagen collected a shortlist in both the Billboard and Print category. Their Chupa Chups “Street Fighter”, “Claw Machine”, “Racing Car” campaign was also shortlisted in the Poster and Print categories taking their tally to 4 shortlists.

Hakuhodo Indonesia scored 2 shortlists in the Poster category and 1 in Print for their Sushi Sei ‘Flavour of Home’ campaign.

There are a total of 134 entries Shortlisted; 52 entries in Ambient & Activation, 27 in Billboard, 21 in Poster and 34 in Print, representing twenty-five countries. The Germany dominates with 23 shortlisted entries, followed by the United Kingdom with 22 and France with 17 shortlisted entries.

This jury, presided over by Bruno Bertelli, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Groupe Italy & Global Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Worldwide, spent countless hours discussing the entries to be sure that the best work was awarded. Joining Bruno in the virtual judging room were Susana Albuquerque, Uzina, Lisboa; Wilson Ang, Cheil, Hong Kong; Evgenia Arabkina, Serviceplan Russia, Moscow; Baris Gencel, China’s Lunar Exploration Program, Shanghai; Oren Meir, Addict Israel, Haifa; Tomás Ostiglia, LolaMullenlowe, Madrid; Carolina Saraiva, Walt Disney World, Los Angeles and Götz Ulmer, McCann Worldgroup Germany, Frankfurt.
