Tribal Worldwide Singapore and MCI release music video to rally Singaporeans
Tribal Worldwide Singapore has collaborated with the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) to launch “Together, We Will Get There”, a music video featuring frontliners who have been working tirelessly behind-the-scenes to support Singaporeans during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The video features the classic 2002 National Day song, “We Will Get There”, with updated vocals by popular Singapore artistes Aisyah Aziz, Alfred Sim, Joanna Dong and Shabir Tabare Alam.
As Singapore progresses towards a COVID-resilient state, this music video demonstrates the ongoing dedication of our frontliners in ensuring that Singapore stays the course in the fight against the virus. The music video also seeks to remind Singaporeans to remain steadfast and stand united so that we can overcome this crisis together as one.
Soffy Hariyanti, Director, Campaigns & Productions Department of MCI’s Public Communications Division said: “Since the virus first hit Singapore in early 2020, we have rallied as a nation. Our journey through this pandemic has not been easy. We would not have made it this far without the hard work of our frontliners and volunteers, as well as every single one of us who has played our part to keep ourselves, our loved ones and others around us safe. This video celebrates our solidarity and resolve to get through this crisis together, in spite of the challenges that may come our way.”
Benson Toh, Executive Creative Director at Tribal Worldwide Singapore, said: “In this long fight against COVID-19, we may be fatigued but this is not the time to let our guard down. Through touching real stories inspired by everyday Singaporeans who selflessly stepped up to the front line, we hope that the public will stay united and support our frontliners.
