Leo Burnett Thailand releases confronting anti drink driving awareness campaign for Thai Health Promotion Foundation
The Thai Health Promotion Foundation and The Leo Burnett Group Thailand have released this confronting “Drink Don’t Drive” campaign that uses the beliefs and faith of the Thai people, who are mostly Buddhists.
Buddhists believe that “Sin is irreparable” no matter how hard someone try’s to compensate. In Thailand, every year the Thai Health Promotion Foundation promote “Drink Don’t Drive” campaigns to reduce death from accidents caused by drunk drivers. However, drink driving is still the main cause of accidents in Thailand.
This latest campaign titled ‘Dad’ illustrates the effects of a drunk driver who has caused the loss and tried to atone for his sins. But nothing can make up for what he has done – the feeling of guilt still remains.
