Lion & Lion appoints ex-dentsu’s Frederik Rasmussen as Client Director of Malaysia

Lion & Lion has appointed Frederik Rasmussen as Client Director of Malaysia to lead the agency’s business development department, while also managing the agency’s top tier clients. Rasmussen reports directly to Lion & Lion Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Gumpel, but his role contains many touch points within the organisation both locally and regionally.

 

Rasmussen’s background includes extensive experience on both the client and the agency side of the table. Over the past six years, he developed his specialty in marketing, especially in the evolving sphere of digital marketing and exploring new technologies and platforms. Among the roles he has had prior to joining Lion & Lion include Brand Manager, Digital Marketing, and Sales Manager for Falck (a leading European emergency services company), serving as Digital Account Manager for Vizeum, and as a Senior Consultant for Dentsu where Rasmussen was responsible for leading some of the agency’s key client accounts like BMW and Burger King.

Rasmussen said: “I am excited to take on my role here at Lion & Lion. I took a big leap of faith when I decided to leave Denmark, but in order to pursue my dreams it felt intriguing to relocate to Malaysia and join Lion & Lion. My goal is to become an active part of two areas in particular – give our clients the best service, and grow Lion & Lion to the next level. I am certain both of these goals require support and backup from my talented colleagues, thus my first plan is to listen and understand the business I’m now settling in.”
