Lion & Lion has appointed Rebecca Lai as Business Director of Singapore as part of the agency’s ongoing enlargement of their senior team. Lai will be responsible for expanding Lion & Lion’s offerings in Singapore and the region, with a focus on maintaining the agency’s momentum in building networks with notable consumer and corporate brands.
Lai’s career in communications spans more than 15 years, with experience leading accounts for international agencies in the WPP and Omnicom groups. She attributes her success with major blue-chip brands to her strong understanding of business objectives, combined with insightful value propositions.
Before joining Lion & Lion, she worked for OLIVER, leading the UStudio Singapore and Bayer Southeast Asia teams, specialising in in-house content creation for the clients.
Lai said: “I go by the phrase ‘nothing is fun until you are good at it’. It is a reminder to challenge myself and stay positive as there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
