Global leader in mobile advertising Ogury has announced the appointment of Udara Withana as Insights and Client Strategy Director, Asia.
Reporting to Charlotte Diemer, Ogury’s Global Head of Insights and Strategy and based in Singapore, Withana will be responsible for developing the company’s data and insight practices across the APAC region.
“With new markets opening currently in Asia, I am thrilled to be part of Ogury’s expansion in this strategic region,” says Withana citing its championing of user privacy even before terminology such as PDPA or privacy regulations were coined.
He is inspired by its innovative advertising technology, which provides audience interest and brand performance while respecting the user’s privacy. “Ogury’s ID-less and cookieless solution, that powers its Personified Advertising Engine, is a game changer for brands and agencies in APAC,” Withana says.

She adds Withana’s hiring will help strengthen the Singapore team whilst supporting clients across the region by leveraging Ogury’s unique and powerful data to meet the marketing challenges.
Withana was previously Head of Strategy at Dentsu Singapore where he played his part in the agency winning Singapore Agency of the Year on multiple occasions. He was also the Head of Digital and Brand Strategy at Toaster APAC and helped the agency win the Samsung and Olam Foods accounts.
As a specialist in the digital advertising industry, he is regularly invited to speak at award shows including Spikes Asia and EPICA Awards together with being a jury member of the APAC Effies.
