Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2022 Contenders…

Coca-Cola: Chinese New Year Real Magic
Production Company: Unlisted
Director: Yves Geleyn
Creative Agency: Ogilvy Shanghai
Unlisted, and animation director Yves Geleyn, in collaboration with Coca Cola Greater China, Ogilvy Shanghai and Hornet tell a sweet, symbolic story about a father and son, a homecoming, and the new beginnings of the Lunar New Year. Lunar New Year is the biggest and most important festival in Chinese culture, bringing families together to celebrate and connect. The spot imbues the bottle of Coca Cola with a hint of magic; the catalyst for familial bonding.

Grill’d: Grill’d VS Evil
Production Company: Unlisted
Director: Gary Levesque
Creative Agency: The Monkeys, Melbourne
Grill’d has launched its first major brand campaign, taking aim at evil with the help of a righteous burger vigilante. This protagonist boldly sticks up for what is right in an industry of unsustainable, unnatural and unhealthy food practices. Presented in a retro superhero style to embody the greats before him, this animated hero takes on evil scientists, eco-villains and a toy-toting clown in his quest to make the world a better place.

SK-II: Broadcast Your Beauty
Production Company: Unlisted
Director: Morgan Harary
Creative Agency: Forsman & Bodenfors, Singapore
SK-II’s “Broadcast Your Beauty” is an energetic, mixed-media spot created to launch the collaboration between SK-II and The Andy Warhol Foundation. Fittingly, the “Broadcast Your Beauty” concept is told through the lens of Warhol’s favourite broadcast medium: the television. The highly stylised aesthetic of the spot captures the energy of the limited edition ‘Pitera Essence’ bottle, immortalising Warhol’s words and reflecting a beauty philosophy shared by SK-II.
