Catherine Zhu, Interone China’s Managing Director, has announced the promotion of Allen Zhao to General Manager of Interone Beijing to further the agency’s growth and success.
Prior to joining Interone, Zhao worked for a big ad network within their interactive unit where he served multinational technology brands such as Intel, Microsoft and Cisco.
In 2016, Zhao joined Interone as an Account Director, handling digital creative campaigns and digital platform business for brands such as BMW and Rolls-Royce before he became Business Director in 2019, responsible for leading the company’s client service and business development teams.
Zhao has achieved remarkable results for the agency and for his clients since his time at Interone, despite all the adverse effects of the epidemic. One of the most recent ones being his help in securing BMW Group’s digital creative business.
In his new role, Zhao will lead Interone Beijing’s team to serve the BMW Group (including BMW, Rolls-Royce, Mini, Motorrad and others).
“Allen is undoubtedly an exceptionally talented young leader who will further strengthen our team’s creativity, provide high-quality digital creative marketing solutions to our partners and clients, and help us grow quickly in the future,” says Zhu.
Zhao said: “I have always been inspired by Interone’s motto – ‘Engineering Ideas. Creating Involvement.’ We are seeing technology and media evolve everyday and for creative agencies, good ideas have always been the most important weapon. Technology and media are just methods and channels that help us realize the idea and reach our goal of connecting brands and consumers. We will continue to develop strong, creative ideas for our clients that will provide effective interactive marketing solutions. I’m truly excited about the plans we have for the next coming years.”
