Virtue appoints Germaine Ng to Account Director role strengthening APAC team

Virtue, the creative agency from VICE, continues to grow the team at its APAC hub in Singapore, appointing Germaine Ng as Account Director.

Ng will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the agency’s reach across the region in the newly created role.

She joins Virtue after three years at TBWA\Singapore where as associate brand director, she managed the global remit for Standard Chartered. She has also worked at M&C Saatchi and U-studio, the in-house agency for Unilever on brands including Dove, CLEAR, Pond’s and Ben & Jerry’s.

Lesley John, Managing Director at Virtue APAC, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Germaine to our team in Singapore. Her hybrid experience and balanced skill set coupled with her strong entrepreneurial drive, will enable us to supercharge our growth in the region.”

Virtue APAC, which creates global and regional work for clients including Coca-Cola, Diageo and Shiseido across offices in Singapore, India and Japan, has added or promoted key talent to the agency in recent months. In August, Ann May Chua was appointed to lead production across the region. Fiona Knight was promoted to the newly created head of account management role, while other senior hires include group creative director, Chris Gurney; associate creative director, Nuno Dores; and business director Victoria Fernandez.

Ng said: “As the creative agency powered by VICE, Virtue is well placed to look ahead into culture to identify where and how the world is shifting towards before trends become mainstream. I’m looking forward to working with a team driven by collaboration and taking the agency into our next stage of growth.”
