Mediabrands Greater China hires Crystal Zhang to newly created Chief Financial Officer role

Mediabrands, the media and marketing solutions division of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), has appointmented Crystal Zhang to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer, Mediabrands Greater China.

 

With almost 30 years financial expertise under her belt, Zhang joins from her prior role as CFO for investment management company Withinlink, and enjoys a wealth of direct industry experience having worked for a number of years across the Dentsu Aegis network and WPP Group in China, providing senior financial leadership including M&A and integration.

In her new role Zhang will provide financial stewardship across the Mediabrands network of agencies in China’s mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan region; working in close partnership with Greater China CEO Melinda Po.

Zhang will be based in Shanghai and will report to Tharmaindran, CFO Mediabrands APAC. Her appointment is effective immediately.
