Muma closes Q1 with four recent business wins

Muma Malaysia has seen a solid start to 2023 when it closed the first quarter with four new accounts from Southern Lion, Nature’s Wonders, The Tapping Tapir and Perpetual Memorial Park.

The independent agency has been awarded Southern Lion’s total oral care business which will see it leading creative initiatives for all of the Japanese FMCG company’s brands in this category, namely Systema, Fresh & White and Kodomo Lion.

Muma will also take the lead on healthy snack brand Nature’s Wonders, a new portfolio awarded by the Singapore based Tai Sun (Lim Kee) Food Industries, in addition to the Treatz account which the agency has held since 2021.

They also saw the return of Perpetual Memorial Park with whom the agency had previously executed an extensive branding campaign for the Johor-based bereavement company.

Innovative local beverage brand The Tapping Tapir will also be tapping into Muma’s experience and bold creativity for its new BAJO Active natural hydrating beverage.

Managing director, Pang Li Li, said: “Our new clients have entrusted us with their brands and we fully intend to deliver impactful campaigns that will meet their needs and help their brand and business growth. We look forward to a positive and adventurous journey together.”

Muma’s creative partner, Choo Chee Wee, added: “Be it a branding or tactical campaign, we will challenge ourselves to push boundaries and deliver unique, clutter-breaking creative works based on strong consumer and cultural insights for all our clients.”

Founded in 2018 by Choo Chee Wee and Pang Li Li, the boutique agency rocked the industry last year with notable wins at prestigious local and regional awards events, including ‘The Golden Kancil’ at the PETRONAS Kancil Awards and ‘Agency Of The Year’ at both the Spikes Asia and ADFEST Lotus Awards.
