Delta Air Lines has launched a new campaign with Geometry Ogilvy Japan featuring Delta’s brand ambassador, Yuto Horigome, to promote their daily nonstop service between Tokyo-Haneda (HND) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The 30-second video will run through social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, until the end of July.
“Our focus is to promote Delta’s daily nonstop service between Tokyo-Haneda and Los Angeles, and Yuto’s strong influence among the young generation helps us to enhance our brand preference in a wider range of customers.” says Glady Tung, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific at Delta Air Lines. “Yuto is constantly pushing himself to be the best in his field, which resonates well with Delta’s brand promise, ‘Keep Climbing’.”
Doug Schiff, Geometry Ogilvy Japan CCO, said: “The simple execution plays off of the smooth flights Yuto consistently gets on his own version of a tarmac. We look forward to more opportunities to film him in the air.”
Delta supports Yuto Horigome, an Olympic gold medalist and world-class Japanese professional skateboarder as his official airline. He holds Delta SkyMiles Diamond Medallion Status.
LAX is one of Delta’s key coastal hubs, where the airline today operates 150 daily flights to 53 cities worldwide. The $2.3 billion project, Delta Sky Way at Lax, will be finished later this year, as a part of Delta’s more than $12 billion investment in airport infrastructure over the past decade. When completed, Terminals 2 and 3 will be a consolidated 1.2-million-square-foot, 27-gate complex, featuring a quick airside connector to the Tom Bradley International Terminal, eliminating the need to bus between terminals.
