TBWA\Hong Kong elevates multiple members of leadership team including Jerome Ooi to newly created chief creative experience officer role

TBWA\Hong Kong has promoted key members of their leadership team: Jerome Ooi, executive creative director steps into the newly created chief creative experience officer role for the agency, while business director Jan Lee has been named general manager.

 

In addition to Ooi and Lee’s appointment, Anne Chan has been promoted to head of growth and product from her previous role of head of digital. Together with Terence Ling, chief strategy and innovation officer, this team will drive the agency forward.

Hong Kong is a dynamic market, moving at speed, with on-going market opportunities always changing. To continue to push and remain at the leading edge, it’s imperative businesses never sit still.

Following the Hong Kong leadership announcements, Jan Cho, managing director of TBWA\Hong Kong will assume a global role as head of product and delivery, TBWA\Worldwide. Cho will transfer to London, whilst continuing to play an advisory role for key clients in Hong Kong for the remainder of the year.

Lao added: “The growth of our people has a direct correlation with the growth and success of our agency. The elevation of these roles reflects our determination to lead in creative brand experience, backed by a strong team with an unwavering commitment to innovation that delivers unique solutions for clients. These are well-deserved promotions with a highly talented team who have a strong and proven track record.

“I am also delighted Jan Cho will be elevated from a Hong Kong role to a global position in strong recognition of our homegrown Hong Kong talent.”

Under the leadership of Jan and the management team, TBWA\Hong Kong has been an innovation beacon across the global collective, successfully reshaping its capabilities from communications to brand experience through to innovation product offerings including DxD (Design and Experience), BOLT (inhouse film content studio), Disruption® Consulting (business consulting service) and more recently PLEX, a global product with a B2B focus, which has enjoyed recent new business success.
