Record-breaking year for Crowbar Awards 2023

Crowbar Awards, Singapore’s leading platform for recognizing and celebrating student creativity, has marked a historic year with its highest number of entries to date. The association of Advertising & Marketing Singapore (AAMS) proudly announces a record-breaking 943 entries, the highest in its 22-year history, signalling the growing importance and relevance of student awards in the creative industry.

 

The final judging, which took place at TikTok’s office at One Raffles Quay, witnessed an impressive turnout of 70+ industry veterans and professionals. Their dedication and expertise aimed to raise the bar for Singapore’s young professionals and provide them with a valuable bridge to the industry. Crowbar Awards serves as more than just a competition; it’s a platform that connects students with the industry. The contributions of lecturers, judges, chairpersons, and the AAMS team have played a crucial role in making this happen and have taken us one step closer to achieving our goal.

After a rigorous first round of judging, approximately 20% of the entries advanced to the second round as finalists.
