Vinod Savio returns to DDB Group Singapore from Toaster as Chief Creative Officer

DDB Group Singapore has announced the appointment of Vinod Savio as Chief Creative Officer (CCO). Savio’s arrival signifies a strategic move to elevate DDB’s creative prowess and technological capabilities.

 

As the former Executive Creative Director at Toaster Singapore, Savio’s track record in driving innovation is well-established. Under his visionary leadership, Toaster rose to become one of the APAC region’s leading digital specialist agency, expanding its creative and digital footprint across Southeast Asia and India. His influence was instrumental in shaping Google’s marketing landscape in the APAC and India regions.

Savio returns to DDB following a previous eight-year tenure. In his new role as CCO, he will lead the development of next-generation creative skills, expand DDB’s regional client base, and solidify Singapore’s position as a hub for global clients.

With nearly two decades in the industry, Savio’s collaborations with esteemed clients such as Google, McDonald’s, Unilever, and Johnson & Johnson have earned him prestigious industry awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, Effies, and Spikes Asia. This year, he was recognised as one of the most awarded creative directors of 2023 in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings.

Savio’s appointment underscores DDB’s commitment to harnessing emerging technologies, data, social, gaming, and artificial intelligence to create innovative solutions for modern client challenges.
