Ogilvy Singapore elevates Ishita Roy and Frederick Tong to Joint Head of Strategy

Ogilvy Singapore has elevated Ishita Roy and Frederick Tong to Joint Head of Strategy, effective immediately.

 

Both Roy (pictured left) and Tong (pictured right) have been with Ogilvy Singapore through most of the last decade. They have contributed significantly to the agency’s growth, reputation and the strength of our client relationships. They have diverse backgrounds and skills, and will bring the full strength of that diversity to their new roles – leading strategy for Ogilvy Singapore. These promotions reflect our commitment to fostering innovation, delivering impactful campaigns, and recognizing top talent within its ranks.

Tong, with over 18 years of experience in creative, digital, and PR agencies, has been a key contributor to Ogilvy’s new business success since joining in 2017. He has also developed Effie-winning work on campaigns for AIA, Decathlon, IHG, and the Early Childhood Development Agency, and was honoured as Campaign Asia’s SEA Strategic/Brand Planner of the Year in 2022.

Roy, with over 17 years of experience and is celebrated as one of Singapore’s most innovative and effective strategists. Through her career, Roy has been both a marketer and an agency brand strategist. She joined Ogilvy in 2017 and has played a pivotal role leading strategy across key clients including the Changi Airport Group, Pringles, NCPC, Swisse and more recently Mondelez. She was also shortlisted as Campaign Asia’s SEA Strategic/Brand Planner of the Year in 2023.
