Film Construction director Chris Clark Chosen as Surf Filmmaker of the Year
Chris Clark’s award-winning short film “Wai Is The Yang” has been released online after successful screenings worldwide.

At the Aotearoa Surf Film Festival, he was named Kiwi Filmmaker of the Year for his outstanding contribution to the film industry. “Surfing prepares the mind for my day job as a commercials director,” explains Clark. “It has been wonderful to see ‘Wai Is The Yang’ create moving discussions about the ocean, community, and mental health. I think it offers audiences a deeper understanding of being human.”
