Sasa and FCN Creative – Storikka Indonesia launch new initiative supporting ADHD families

PT Sasa Inti (Sasa) has launched Sasa Kids ADHDtion, an initiative dedicated to supporting families, especially mothers of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This initiative, with creative direction from FCN Creative – Storikka, introduces a line of innovative products designed to support sensory engagement while providing delicious meals.

 

Sasa Kids ADHDtion combines pre-measured seasoning, coconut milk, and spices created specifically to suit ADHD children’s dietary needs. The packaging also doubles as a fidgeting tool, providing a way to support better focus. The design and concept were created in partnership with FCN Creative – Storikka.

Psychologist Anastasia Satriyo, M.Psi., said: “Childhood is a formative period for development, especially for children with ADHD, who benefit greatly from the right family support. Managing ADHD symptoms involves a quality diet and proper sensory stimulation. Balanced meals stabilize mood and energy, while sensory aids like fidget toys help children focus and manage excess energy.”

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting focus, impulse control, and movement regulation. Data shows that 1 in 20 children in Indonesia are affected, underscoring the importance of dedicated support for mothers during mealtime, as well as sensory management.

In response to this need, Sasa Kids ADHDtion also includes recipe ideas printed on the packaging for easy meal preparation. With design input from FCN Creative – Storikka and artist Martcellia Liunic, the packaging is crafted as an interactive infinity cube, giving it both an aesthetic and functional appeal that can be especially beneficial to children with ADHD.
